Douglas W. Geyer

Mr. Geyer graduated from the Ohio Northern University College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1968. He was admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District, in 1971, and the United States Supreme Court in 1974.

He served as judge of both Municipal and Common Pleas Courts of Clark County, Ohio for more than 25 years and as presiding judge of those courts for many years.

As the Senior Partner of Geyer Herier & Associates, he is an experienced litigator and attorney. His practice focuses on appropriations, domestic relations, and criminal representations.

David Herier

David Herier

Mr. Herier attended Rockway Primary and Middle School and graduated from Shawnee High School. He graduated from Wright State University Magna Cum Laude, participating in multiple internships in politics and government. He graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998, where he was a research assistant, helping to develop a law school text book which is now used nationally in law school.

Mr. Herier is admitted to practice law in all Ohio courts and in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Herier has successfully guided many cases through the courts, including winning multiple appellate cases.

Mr. Herier is heavily involved in the local community and has served as a board member locally on the Housing Connection Board, The American Red Cross, Nehemiah Foundation, Springfield Christian Youth Ministry, and volunteer and legal services for many local churches.

He served as a Clark County Commissioner representing the county on issues related to finances, economic development, recycling in the County, and budgetary concerns.

Mr. Herier's practice focuses on probate, wills, business law, civil litigation, personal injury, and divorce/custody.

Zachary S. Bayless

Zachary S. Bayless

Mr. Bayless graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2013 and is admitted to practice law in all of Ohio and in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio.

Before coming to Geyer Herier & Associates, Mr. Bayless maintained a private practice in Logan County and acted as part-time prosecutor. He is a member of the Clark County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. His practice focuses on criminal defense, domestic relations law, and DUI defense representation.

Zach enjoys playing guitar, golfing, swimming, and playing soccer. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club.
